We’re in Toronto and we were doing AirBNB with our spare bedroom until recently (we moved to a new place and are renting out the bottom flat).
We ran into multiple people who had been pursuing American citizenship who had decided to pursue Canadian citizenship instead. One couple had just landed and was looking for a place to live.
(I was amused to discover that they were living in my home town; I’m originally American.)
