This has been going on for years. Taking action 10 days before the election is just a show.

PSDB, a center-right party, actually told the TSE (Superior Electoral Tribunal) at the end of 2017 that this was gonna happen and they did nothing. They are still doing nothing.
Brazil is very shady right now.

From the outside it’s been looking like that for a while. The last two presidents ended up in jail and deposed respectively, and then there’s a massive corruption scandal which probably only scratches the surface of what’s really going on.
Shady indeed.
Brazil deserves better.
