Breitbart deletes a tweet

Meanwhile, Breitbart is celebrating any evidence of slumps in NFL watching/attending that they can find or make.

I was just about to ask the same.

Even their bigoted ‘jokes’ are lame.

The news here is that Breitbart has “editorial standards”.

I’m wondering if the tweet came out right after the “We’re all one team” ad? Because my reaction when I saw it was “oh boy, wingnuts are gonna freak out over that one.”

Thanks for that. I usually squirm at those sort of ads, but they carried it off pretty well.

the fact that they are seemingly all priests is probably unique, but otherwise I don’t really see the oddness here…in NY, Christians and Jews are everywhere (not sure if people know this in the NY-hater part of the world), so seeing them there is nothing…its just vanilla…and there are so many Indians and east asians, I could totally imagine one being hindu and 1 being muslim, or sikh…most of the east asians seem to be christian though, but I may not have accurate stats…the front and back seat in this commercial seems normal to me minus the wardrobe. you’d probably, in real life have a black guy and/or spanish guy in there too.

Let me guess they were drinking heavily and tweeting at the Breitbart Superbowl party. Luckily the Sr. Editor caught wind of what was happening:

When did that happen, and why wasn’t I informed?

They always, always are.
You’d think that just once in a while someone would come up with something that, as terrible as it would be on the moral/ethical level, would at least be witty and actually work as a joke, but no.
But then again, making a good joke requires not only wit, but having understood the subject and given it some thought. Not to mention at least a minimum of empathy and compassion.

I feel like breitbart/trump’s base is too ignorant to know just how similar they are to their enemy. But then again, maybe it isn’t a good idea for them to realize and join forces.

This is an oldie but I think relevant.

So that’s why the stock market dropped like a rock today! I bet it’s going to snow tonight, too.

They’re more upset about the T Mobile baby ad

I’m sure that’s why, but I still don’t quite get it, as it seems exactly in line with the sorts of things they usually do say out loud. Maybe I do too much interpretation of the dog whistling to notice when it’s more fully audible… Or maybe their writers routinely say such things straight out, but only from their own social media accounts.

I don’t get it either. Breitbart’s never been bashful about things like that. If it doesn’t meet their standards, maybe it wasn’t bigoted enough?
