Not a lot is going to effectively change when Roe gets reversed. It will still be legal in blue states. It’s already heavily curtailed in red states.
The bulk of the change has already been effected over the last 20 years by the steady encroachment on Roe in red states. Eg, Mississippi has one (1) abortion clinic.
Hopefully, this will “motivate” people to vote Democratic in this and subsequent elections, until 10-20 years from now, we get another chance at a meaningful SCOTUS nomination.
Exactly. That’s why it’s forbidden to have fallopian tubes tied even for women who have zero chance of carrying a pregnancy to term. (And, yes, that’s why my former wife had to go back to a different hospital after a caesarean delivery instead of two snips while the tubes were there to be seen during surgery.)
