I still don’t get why Obama on his way out would shill for this. What kind of kushy job could he possibly get from the corps that benefit from this?

Right, I mean he’ll get cushy director seats without this anyway, and he’s probably more interested in teaching than shuffling papers. So why sponsor this corporate rights grab?

Challenging neoliberal economic policies written by multinationals is not something Western governments get to do. Left or right wing, rule #1 is that the rich eat first.
