Resolution is 854 x 480. It’s not 1080P; it’s not even XGA. But that’s okay, because with 200 lumens you can’t use a screen larger than a piece of paper and expect to see an image in a room with ambient light.

200 lumens over 200 inches? Sharp, HD-quality image? Yeah, no. This isn’t the first time the Boing Boing shop has offered a low lumen “projector” with this kind of hyperbolic sales fluffery.

How does a projector create such rich blacks on an otherwise white surface in a well-lit room? Does it have some kind of deluminator technology?
