I signed up under a pseudonym for a “town hall forum” (actually, Republican) and ever since have been getting regular emails from Boehner to that email account. I could post every single one of them. They all boil down to: whatever the Democrats are doing, he says the Republicans are doing, and vice versa. Put together they have a Through the Lookingglass vibe.

Salt and spices are just as much preservatives as sodium benzoate or alum. This is all over all the packaging everywhere and is maddening.
