We really don’t appreciate all the services they provide the way we should.
Wow. So, almost every major metropolitan city. Damn, it’s going to be a long hot summer.
Edit:
“…the New Jersey state Assembly has passed, by a margin of 76-0, an amended bill that requires all K-12 students be taught how to interact with police.”
So, why are we being taught on how to interact with cops and not the other way around. BackwardsLand in NJ?

hey, the favor is obviously if the black man was walking around unjailed he might be shot by another racist cop! Think about it!
Here’s some basic information regarding how this can work. Depending on your state, things get more complicated. In Texas, for example, you are charged with a misdemeanor only when being arrested, not when being detained. A cop in a hurry might come up with a reason to arrest if he really wanted to know who you are.
Heh, yuck!
But with respect to other’s choice of dress:
"Don’t criticize what you don’t understand, son. You never walked in that man’s shoes.”
– Elvis Presley
As best I can tell, none of the “stop and ID” freedom bastions require that you possess any specific papers, just that you you provide certain identifying information if asked under certain circumstances, and some of them criminalize lying about it in those cases.
I imagine that claiming you don’t have ID will generally be met with hostile skepticism; but unless something else(operating a motor vehicle, say) requires it; even those states appear to only require verbal response.
I understand it’s actually worse than that map shows, since the 100 mile thing also applies to international airports? So Atlanta, for example, should have a 100 mile ring around it.
It wasn’t for this cop - while he was hassling this guy, several people jaywalked in front of him without him doing anything. Ironically, the guy he was hassling, according to his version of events, wasn’t even jaywalking the way most people understand it- he had simply started crossing towards the end of the light. It’s almost as if the jaywalking wasn’t the real issue…
Then pray tell exactly what was your claim that you would illegally arrest and harm individuals for what they were wearing?
The discussion can’t be civil.
