Buzz Rickson jacket from Gibson's Pattern Recognition is now an article of commerce

See, it’s that kind of obsessive dedication to poor quality that makes it worth seven hundred dollars.

This whole article/thread is making me vaguely furious, and I’m still not entirely certain why; but this was a big clue.

I live on an island far, far away from coyotes, yes.

The term is “Sage green” which the Air force was partial to back in the day.

how’s this for an otaku piece. I picked it up on a trip to tokyo last year. After passing on buying the MA-1 in ueno, i found this gibson L-2B in ragtag (hi-end secondhand shop). Perhaps bigend had a custom order put in?

Oh, even with that flaw, it’s a hell of a nice jacket. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.
It’s hard to explain.

If this were the REAL thing though wouldn’t all the tags have been stitched in and then cut out of it?

It seems we’ve lost our parent post.
I hate it when people spend their time and effort to write and discuss something, only to have it yanked away.
It would have been better to just correct or ammend the parent post…
