I met her once when I was in grad school. She was very warm, open, articulate (some artists are not), and encouraging. A total pro and a lovely person.

Well, maybe they are better about reading people’s mind than I am… Me, I see an artist plying her trade, doing her job, but apparently when women do it, it’s merely attention seeking.

Her films/videos are very worth tracking down. (My favorite is the very NSFW Fuses.) They used to be up at ubuweb. Gone now, but still out there somewhere.
ETA: Oh, when I deactivate Privacy Badger I see that the original post includes Fuses. Cool. Perhaps the original post should warn folks that while it can be difficult to clearly see, what with all of the image overlaying and other film manipulations, Fuses does contain quite explicit sex. Or just surprise them with it.
