A friend’s cat likes to rest on his clothing and shoes – possibly attracted to and calmed by the odor of his favorite human in the house. Perhaps that’s what’s getting lap-cat onto the fake lap?

Yeah, this is where my attempt at this failed. Fake lap without scritches and belly rubs was quickly abandoned in favor of yowling for the real thing.

Sweet Sweet Little Inky is quick to sit on any new thing brought into the house. Boxes, bags, coats, shoes etc… A fake lap? Why not? It’s new!!!
