Odds are the “unappealing dust jacket” strategy will just make the safe-book stand out like a sore thumb amongst your books.
This thing is just a novelty, a toy which you buy to have fun with…
I could see deploying a handful of them as decoys (while any valuable stuff is in a real safe) working against a casual/opportunistic burglar/thief.

Or you buy a cheap safe to use as a decoy while hiding the real stuff under the floor boards. An intentionally bad safe that any burglar will know he can open given a bit of time, so that once he has opened it and found some trivial stuff he’ll be out of time.
