While I enjoyed them both, the second one was so good with tone. You’d have highs followed by giant lows and then back up. It was a roller coaster filled with more Chekov’s guns than the armory on the Enterprise.
As an old person who read the original GotG when it came out, I totally ‘squeeeeed’ when the “classic” guardians showed up. It was honestly an enjoyable comic back then but it had almost no readership and I totally get why it was cancelled and revamped so many times.
Right now, I believe Peter is the incarnation of a hippie sun god, so…Marvel’s going in a different direction again.

Hm, dang, I thought I was out, but Guardians 3 is probably the only thing that could drag me back to the MCU
