Only an asshole leaves an unsecured, loaded gun where a toddler can reach it. Hopefully, this new asshole he’s had installed will let enough light in to where his head is stuck that he’ll see the error of his ways.

If it’s any consolation, I’d consider it being something the dad (presumably the person who’s supposed to be in control of the gun) did. You can’t blame a toddler for being endangered by their family.
