It’s an absurd Google translation, not something a person would actually say in Chinese. The verb ‘to take’ used doesn’t have the sort of separate meanings it does in English, so the translation begins something like, ‘I don’t reckon I could grab it.’

I’ve always been slightly amazed that people believe that if something is apprehended without cost, that it is above reproach.
