if that’s their attitude then I think they’ve done her a favor. She can now get a normal education
Or maybe not? Maybe the local public school has real issues and there aren’t any other affordable private schools in the area? Maybe she’s now out of luck, and her parents now have to reconfigure their entire lives (including maybe one parent having to take time off work, meaning they have one less income now) to give her an education at home? Maybe this was the least worst option for this family, and now they are sort of screwed?
