Requirements? No. Expectations? Yes. Which are very dependant on where you work in finance and accounting. It can range from suit and tie to casual, depending on what you do and where you are. We only let men stop wearing ties a short time ago.

The finance field is known to be more on the conservative side so if your profession is also like that, then yes.
