CNN's economics analyst told cringeworthy joke about Stormy Daniels and no one was laughing

FTFY.

Misogynistic society is inherently misogynistic, regardless to whatever lifestyle choices we women may make; our gender has been vilified and demonized ever since the story of Eve… and it’s exponentially worse for any woman who deigns to assert agency over her own sexuality in any way.

Speaking of jokes, that “(respectively)” got a laugh out of me.

But to the extent Moore derailed the discussion, he was successful. This is how a lot of (or most) right-wing rhetoric works. Say any weird old thing, and get everyone off-topic.

and finger point saying, “what about those (clintons/democrats/emails etc)…” to complete the train wreck.

Most porn stars don’t even perform under their real names. If anyone has a well-deserved reputation for calling attention to themselves it’s the guy who spent the last 40 years writing “TRUMP” in giant gold letters on every damn thing he could think of.

I enjoy Stephen Moore’s visits not for the bs pro-Trump garbage he swills, but for the sheer deer stuck in headlights/bad trip look he gets anytime Trump says something that tanks the market. Seriously, I tune in just for that sweaty forehead, suddenly having nothing to say, tie loosening that goes on whenever Trump’s actions cause a downturn. You can see, in Moore’s silence, the gears spinning as he calculates how many thousands he’s losing each second he’s on the air, and how terrified he is to say anything that might set off his boss on another economy destroying tangent.

Typical white republican asshole. Christ what an asshole!

Happy, little engine says, “Yes you can! Yes you can! Yes you can!”

Not just you. As an example, I give you Patricia Cornwell, I writer I used to like. She tried her hand at “funny”, possibly attempting to go for a Carl Hiaasen style and came up with Isle of Dogs, a book pretty much universally recognized as absolutely, horrifyingly bad. Jaw droppingly bad. The only reason I finished it was because I could NOT believe that she could write something so truly awful. But, no. This is what conservatives consider “funny”. And it most assuredly is not.

We should speak about that other Don. He did have a short moment where he really lost it, calling Moore Michael instead of Stephen. But overall, his face was a brilliant blank, his voice brilliantly calm, while still radiating indignation and a dignified form of moderate contempt.

Kudos for not losing your shit, Mr. Moderator. You moderated this well. Even moderate republicans would probably agree that Moore is just full of faeces, and should close his windpipe for a moment.

If you are under the impression that the criticism here is because Mr. Moore referred to her as a porn star, you are incorrect. That is her profession, and few here consider those who work in the field of sex as to be derided or disbelieved.
The problem is that he implied that, because of her work, she was less than credible.

I still can’t get over the fact that her name is Stormy. I mean, foreshadowing??!

Yeah. Not my field of expertise, but I was under the impression that even the really popular ones for the most part like to keep a low profile when they’re not on the job.
