I would say that it has no bearing on guilt or innocence of the person being accused, but it highlights the strict, “us or them” mindset of those doing the defending. The fact that there are multiple accusers makes me think he did it. The fact that Musk et al reflexively defend him makes me think that they may be prone to the same behavior.
