We’re hitting American-level case loads here in Ontario and Quebec. New Brunswick and Nova Scotia have locked down their borders, something which Ontario certainly could have done easily, and school closures have been extended.
One does dispair a bit at our leadership bragging about how long they were able to keep schools open. That’s “Day Late, Dollar Short” Doug Ford, “leader” of the Ontario
provincial government, today’s cartoon in The Toronto Star, who was boasting yesterday that everyone had said lockdowns would hit schools in October. Well, um, maybe you should have done that, eh Doug?
