So the Trump team really must have thought that they were going to overturn the election results and that it somewhat depended on him being somewhat favored at least by his constituency. Otherwise, there wouldnât have been any reason to lie about it, would there?

Well I think itâs a good reminder that there was no transition, and perhaps also that there was no transition to have, so perhaps delaying the exposure of what was going on was as much a factor as pretending that they were going to overturn the election.
There needs to be a concerted effort to ensure that everyone involved in the Trump administration be marked with it for life.
