Pfizer is testing a pill that, if successful, could become first-ever home cure for COVID-19 | Montreal Gazette
So are the usual suspects going to say this one is full of 5G liberal microchips as well?
It would be great to use a relative as an Internet router at home! Thanks Big Pharma! Hey brother, could come here? I want to watch my favorite series!
No thanks, just a cup of coffee and a cheese sandwich for me.
Was just saying this to my fully vaccinated brother earlier on! He’s our new 5g router.
It will still be very useful! Human routers will be the future!
At least he didn’t become an alligator, did he?
Well, he’s a lawyer so how could I tell?
I will be in silence…
i know, right?
when i ran across a short article involving the “greater idaho” movement i did a quick dive into the subject and it’s like looking into qanon or or the “sovereign citizens”: a big dose of alternate reality. while i imagine there’s a good deal of overlap among those groups i named they all have there own flavor. the venn diagram would be mostly overlapping with some sections outside the middle.
This is against a backdrop of a still very aggressive vaccination campaign and the fact that it’s not until September.
We are hoping to be in something close to full swing in September, but are still not comfortable trying to sell tickets until about a month out. Given the scale difference in logistics, I suspect that they are simply unable to carry the uncertainty for that long.
However, I also have a suspicion that they are faced with a significant subset of their customer base who are glibratarian-anti-vaxx, and don’t have the resources and energy to spend the next four months fighting with them.
Got the second Pfizer shot yesterday; only a little soreness around the injection area to report. There wasn’t a line at that time and was out in under 25 minutes (Mass General).
Yay!
There are also numerous lawsuits from antivaxxers against the schools for doing this. These suits are very specific: the lawyers know they can’t object to vaccinations requirements in general, as public institutions have had them for many years, so they specify that students can’t be required to take vaccinations because they are not FDA approved.
Here’s where the logic gets bizarre for me: on the one hand, these antivaxx loonytunes are worried that the gummint is trying to control them with phony vaccines; on the other hand, they are using the lack of FDA approval as their lawsuit benchmark. But: if the government was trying to use the vaccines to mind-control them, or otherwise take away their freedoms, then the government’s first step would have been to officially approve the vaccines. The fact that they are only authorized so far under emergency use authorization is pretty clear evidence that they are not part of some Orwellian abuse of power.
Man, you wasted a lot of time trying to reason that out.
I’m fishing for an invitation onto any government mind-control-with-vaccines initiative.
