Continuing coronavirus happenings (Part 2)

This is key to why CA restaurants are upset about the state banning dining in. They could pivot to strictly take out and delivery, but that’s not how they make their money. Successful restaurants make profits by grossly inflating their alcohol prices.

If this news is well publicized, the pandemic will end on Monday afternoon.

I’ve been saying that if it made dicks fall off, people would be taking this pandemic WAY more seriously.

Perhaps if it merely renders them ‘inert’, it could have a similar effect on behavior.

I dunno. Judging from the number of incels, coal-rollers, Proud Boys, and Boogaloo Bois, I think a LOT of dicks have already fallen off. /s

If Pfizer is smart, it will launch a vaccine and blue pill combo. It will be a blast.

Now seriously. If the possibility of dying in an agonizing way or spending days in a painful treatment didn’t make many people be careful, a failure in their sexual organs will not stop them from acting irresponsibly.

I don’t know - from my experience, the intersection between “acting irresponsibly” and “thinking with your dick” is considerable.

Edit: mispeling.

German Twitter has nice little hashtag, not related to erectile dysfunction but to (in essence) inflammation of the testicles. #Hodencovid.

I like it.

Should we all set up lights and green screens and very very dramatically ask “Correct?” all at once as a people?

“We need to work together and understand each other and move forward to what I believe is the common goal of teaching and learning in person,” Jamila Dunn said.

No, the common goal is to not kill people with a highly contagious disease by shutting down what is easily the most dangerous vector.

The takeaway is not “teaching and learning in person is soooooo important!”, the takeaway is that managing even one kid all day is a Herculean Task, and maybe you need to get down in your knees and promise to give all of your tax monies to school teacher salaries once the pandemic is under control instead of insisting that they are even more expendable than you thought they were before.

I witnessed a new weird mask technique yesterday.
Two Karens (dicknosing their masks) were haranguing an employee, and whenever the employee said something back, the taller Karen would lean in and pull down her mask, apparently to hear better? (This happened a half-dozen times while I was watching. I was also waiting to get help from the employee, and took a step back every time it happened. I was almost in the next department by the time they were done.)
