So tired. Same development in Germany. People allegedly skipping their second dose, because they cannot be arsed or rather go on holidays.

That is such a horrible story and at the same time tragically unsurprising.

The doc that ignored “chest pain radiating to the left arm” needs to have their license pulled. It’s bad enough when ED docs miss acute myocardial infarction because of “nonstandard” symptoms that often present in women but when the textbook symptoms are clubbing you over the head and you still ignore them? Go immediately back to med school. Start over.

Absolutely seeing this here. July should, in a normal year, by a pretty healthy month full of check-ups for college, sports and kindergarten. This year? Not so much. We are seeing the sort of snotty, wheezy, vomiting and diarrhea illnesses we expect to see in February. It would be weird, except we pretty much predicted this would happen with reopening and were relatively prepared for it. Still strange, but what is normal anymore?

It seems to me that it is getting even worse in brazil as some politicians who were against bolsonaro’s approach, supported saner policies, and pushed for a faster vaccination, like são paulo state’s governor, have been gradually capitulating to covid and are trying to get back to normal by lifting most of the restrictions, e.g. allowing bars and restaurants to open and planning to reopen schools starting on august, despite still having a high mortality and a high ICU occupancy.

Hmm, those shot records are dated in the future! I think they’re fake.

Are you supposed to get two shots of the Noo-nson & Noo-nson?

Unfortunately the efficacy of the Noo-nson vaccine is suppressed by the consumption of tubby custard.
