Friendly reminder we are heading for this either way, but vaccination protects very, very effectivity against dying from Covid-19.
People who are opposed to masks prolong the pandemic phase by endangering themselves, which in effect means: killing others (and maybe themselves).

Yes, and it’s disappointing that the CDC made a decision specifically not to track most breakthrough cases for vaccinated people, and we’ve got pretty incomplete data in this country as a result.

Many prefectures in Japan are reporting record high numbers of new infections today, including the entire capital region: Tokyo (3177), Kanagawa (1051), Saitama (870) and Chiba (577). For the first time ever, the number of daily new infections nationwide has surpassed 9,000.
