Key quote- “every $1 invested in the New York City vaccination campaign yielded an estimated $10.19 in cost savings from lower infection and mortality rates, fewer productivity losses, and averted health care use.”

China is still trying for the “Zero Covid” thing.

This line surprised me a bit:

They started vaccinating their population back in December of 2020, with the majority of their population vaccinated by August of 2021. Haven’t their elderly population had an opportunity to get vaccinated by now?

I don’t think they’ve vaccinated nearly as many as they claim.

Studies of the Chinese vaccines carried out in other countries that have used them, indicate that they are much less effective at preventing cases of covid in the elderly population:

Given the vulnerability of that age group to severe effects, that is not a good result.

We got our 3rd booster yesterday at 11am and like clock work I was really sick within 9 hours, rough night, getting better now. Had a hard time walking up the stairs. My wife who didn’t get sick the last two shots got sick this time.

That being said, I will do it again when my doctor tells me to. My doctor, not some wackadoodle on twitter.
