As usual, multiply by 10 for the actual number.

Not one single help offered by the US has been approved.
.
Not one single foreign reporter there. All camera crew/journalist have been kick off and footage deleted. (Why?)
The only local webcasts are all abruptly shut down one by one.
Not one single foreign input on this numbers. Everyone is simply doing a Copy & paste the one for this dictatorship regime.
.
There is also no indication of the amount of people tested daily (If you can’t test, you can’t know)
.
Sleep, people, sleep.
Nothing is happening, this is CCP business as usual

Perhaps but I think you’ll find that globally no one believes China, which is why everyone is freaking out to begin with.

If you’re going to post this, it would be responsible to add that “That is a drop in the rate of new deaths and new cases, compared to yesterday.” [from The Guardian’s live blog]

Change in reporting criteria make comparisons impossible. Current data pretty much meaningless for now.

The CDC just put out a notice that the Coronavirus will be 18 months plus to get under control.
That’s 18 months of hoping somebody doesn’t cough on you or a loved one…

Agree,
Chinese are wondering why they deserve so much hate from foreign country when they have been spitting for ages on everything coming from outside China.
Watch the news in China is the same feeling as living in Disneyland, cause the outside world is so dangerous compare to their peaceful dictatorship.
Pathetic.

I would point out that at this stage there is no vaccine for this form of coronavirus, so anybody (everybody) travels there at their own risk.

Sort of. There’s a vaccine but hasn’t gone through the all of its proper testing channels yet. A vaccine that can be used is still months away however

Exactly. No vaccine. An outfit in Australia also has a contender but - human trials aside - amping it up to sufficient quantities to enable distribution is going to take ages. I’d have conservatively suggested at least 6 months - your article suggests at least a year. So it is starting to look like that AI projection of 300,000 infected by the 25th of Feb may be on the mark.

It’s looking very much like this is going to be a new, community transmitted, endemic disease, no matter what we do. The major purpose of containment efforts at this point is to slow it down until we can mass produce a vaccine.
