Maybe that’s a quiet way of saying “Let’s just shoot for herd immunity.”
Which ain’t going well in say, China. 
I will say again, herd immunity in the absence of widespread immunization just does not happen. Polio, smallpox, measles, malaria, TB… How many centuries do they imagine it takes?

Just for the record, the linked article refers to the doctor (Dr Sarah Myhill) as “her”.
Doctor comes in and says, I can’t operate on that patient, he’s my son!
