Cop in bikini tackles thief to the ground before his arrest

Do sharks count as fish? Does this count if it’s not animated?

So, wait - (certainly not to poke, but…) - he has to respect how he “made” you feel, but you don’t even have to acknowledge how you “made” him feel.

Pfffft.

What, move on?

Yeah, that’s kinda obvious.

There have been apologies and mea culpas; now how about we get back to the topic?

And on that note:

I’d love to see US law enforcement officials adopt the kind of training program that the Stockholm officer in question has obviously benefited from

Nobody got shot for starters!

I can’t believe no one’s grabbed this low-hanging fruit, but…

Do you think they’d be afflicted by Stockholm Syndrome?

She would have arrested the thief even if she’d been naked.

Pretty sure I watched that movie when I was in Japan.

I’m in!

I may be on the old side but my minions will come up with a way to put my brain in a jar so I can continue to be Grand Vizier of my new Co-OperNation and our marry band of spoiled and overproductive refugees and orphans in their shiny new hybrid Skunkworks Project/Campus/Civilizations!

(Yup, that plan’s not just still on but within two years of fruition)

I see you’re choosing to keep hashing it out as well. And seem to be enjoying it, I might add. Gotta get in those last digs?

Not from @William_Holz, in these comments or the PMs he’s sent. Nor are they coming, and I’ve already expressed I’m done.

That IS a wonderful thing.

Think our LEOs could learn a thing or two from her?

Also, how is this maniacal scheme different from

  1. Galt’s Gulch
  2. Scientology

This is still escalating?

I’m glad you reminded me of it. Drawing of the Three, wasn’t it? Haven’t read that one since that first trade paperback came out.

There’s always something defeatist and forlorn in my mind about moments like that, or when Obi-Wan first describes the Jedi as the “guardians of peace and justice on the Old Republic… before the dark times…”

It had to have been; the first eponymous novel in that series basically only deals with Roland tracking Walter, the lobstrosities on the beach, and the final Tarot reading.

Roland doesn’t even find the Door to the other ‘Whens’ until book two.
