Nothing enjoyable about this.

We just got a sneak peek of the next keynote speaker at CPAC 2022!

I just want to hear what a psychologist says was going on here.
Her behavior only makes sense if she is a hangry 7-year-old.

Plus, how does she function at all if this is what sets her off?
From the youtube comments, it’s already known that she’s a teacher? (Scary.)

Imagine if this were Texas and concealed carry is in play…
“I’m feeling threatened” are the codewords you use just before you pull the trigger.

Mental illness?

Nah.

Sometimes an asshole is just an asshole.

For white folks, the answer always seems to be “mental illness,” because otherwise they are just assholes.

Wow… I usually skip watching vids like this because they’ll only raise my blood pressure… for some reason curiosity got the best of me.

The woman in question sounds like she’s channeling Courage the Cowardly Dog, as she whines “Nooooo!” at top volume.

I especially like the suggestion from the other white shoppers to “just go away” so that the person who likely instigated the entire thing wouldn’t have more ridiculous attention drawn to herself rather than, you know, doing ANY OTHER THING.

“Hey just go away so that no one learns anything at all and this can happen again, but with an easier target next time.”

Public shaming is a wonderful, powerful tool that should be used more often in these circumstances.

OMG, that blood curdling scream in the second video. It sounded like a toddler!

The person who is taking the video commented, “I thought this was the safe mall.” I was drinking water and I almost snorted it out.

7 year old? no try a 2 or 3 year old throwing a temper tantrum,

It really is audacious as fuck to demand that people ‘get someone away from you’ while you are actively chasing that person.

O_o

Right?

Never mind the woman who is screaming at the top of her lungs and throwing herself onto the ground like a spoiled child - the Black woman she tried to attack is the real problem here.

/s

Knowing that she was being recorded did seem to exacerbate her behavior, but I don’t blame the woman who was filming for refusing to stop.

Especially given how loathe any of the staff seemed to help resolve the situation.

OMG that second video.

Absolute meltdown. I love the logic in becoming more incensed in direct relation to the indifference the woman shows, plus in increasing volume.

“Straight ahead into that tractor beam of consequences, Captain! Set a course for CHASING SOMEONE IN A VICKY’S UNDERWEAR”

Karen knows what’s coming. The whiniest “Please don’t report me” I’ve ever heard.

That was the cry of the native “oh my god, everyone is going to realize I’m a racist fuck” bird. Very common these days as habitat for a wider diversity of feathered friends has been in decline for some time due to the return of the Nazi’s and other white supremacist predators.

TheRoot actually has an article up about this, which explains very well how fucking ridiculous this entire thing was, and continues to be. Well worth a read, especially because it addresses multiple aspects of how the white people assumed the best solution was for the Black woman to just “go away” and how everyone is sick and tired of this shit.

I was very surprised by how long it took both mall security and then the police to show up.

Because the woman who took the footage is absolutely right; had the shoe been on the other foot, with her as a Black woman trying to assault a White one, the authorities would likely have arrived MUCH sooner, and she’d have been escorted out of the entire mall, at the very least - though it’s even likelier that she’d have been arrested.

That said, after the Karen finally left the store, I’d have just paid for my purchases and gotten the hell out of there - by that point, there was no reason to expect any kind of support from security or the staff.

Yep. I admire her trying to sort things out, but I got the distinct feeling that everyone else in the store wanted her to just go away, too. I was very annoyed that she received no support from the store employees during the entire time.

But shit. That it took over 10 minutes for security to arrive says something about their priorities.

Good instincts though. There was no reason to try to de-escalate by putting herself in danger. That “gentlewoman” was going to try to pin assault on the victim.
