That cow rescued itself completely. That ‘last minute help’ was the equivalent of that 3rd person helping move a couch who just awkwardly places their hand on the side.

The cow is not particularly threatened by the other animals
When one of the dogs approached the cow in the pool (still can’t believe the dog didn’t stop before that point), the reaction didn’t look too friendly.
