I couldn’t figure out why this dude looked so familiar. got it now.
I’m still officially getting a ruckus
I wonder where they got the name Grom?
All I know is it is the name of the Polish Special Forces.
buy a grom, go racing with the CMRA. never too old, never too boring!
Academic. In this video there’s one criminal, the guy who swung first.
Warcraft peons should not be allowed behind the wheel.
Just that inexplicable road rage. “How dare someone be getting ahead of me! I have to be first!”
Pretty happy I don’t understand that level of emotional bullshit, actually.

In recent weeks I’ve been driving up and down 101 north of SF pretty regularly, and it happens quite a bit at all speeds. When traffic is creeping I’m envious, but when traffic is moving but heavy the bikes just fly on past. I agree, it is terrifying, but so are many of the antics on US highways. Anyway, the degree of confidence some of these bikers have in my driving steadiness is heartwarming.
Ha, right!? I’ve never had a ticket, never been pulled over (stretched some laws certainly), but scanning for motorcycles on 101 takes defensive driving to a new level.
Cyclists, go ahead and split. But when another car is trying to avoid another accident please practice total situational awareness… And don’t split going 90mph.
Honda makes such a great looking bike, it’s hard not to love the Ruckus. If you don’t mind the Chinese knock-off market, take a look at the Ice Bear. Still a 49cc displacement so shouldn’t require a motorcycle cert. (IANAL, YMMV).
OK and Tu Quoque as the very first comment. Yes, well done.

How 'bout the west 40? The north 40 is the neighbor’s.
I thought the same thing!
For those wondering lane splitting was not legal in California yet it went unenforced. Not until May 2015 did the California assembly vote to make it legal. They have yet to figure out how to implement it yet.
I too thought it was legal all this time.
And yes people in California Lane split at speeds WAY too fast to be safe.
Holy shit, that was so worth the watch. Thank you for posting in a format that makes sense in 2015!
In California you can not operate a motor vehicle unlicensed or unregistered. Prepare for fines. You even must register a vehicle non-operational if you own it, but it doesn’t go. Traffic laws may not apply on your back 40 but unlicensed vehicle operation? No way.
But with the 150cc conversion, right? Those things are awesome.
