Is it a bad thing that I just automatically assume whatever belief they state publicly will ultimately prove hypocritical when the “right” sort of person engages in the supposed transgression? Your examples are exactly the kinds of things that would be supported. Not for the act, of course. It’s the people. Bad people do actions for bad purposes. The good people who do those actions must be doing so for good purposes.

No, that’s just reality. That is what these hardline christo-fascists do. And not just the men. Many of the most virulent and hateful forced-birthers got themselves an abortion while simultaneously working to make the choice impossible and stalking clinics to harm other women emotionally and mentally.
