Many snake roundups are done to remove invasive species such as pythons from places like the Florida Everglades, where they are busy decimating native wildlife. Those snakes need to be killed and have their stomach contents examined.

Are there any other than the ‘Florida Python Challenge’? That’s removed about 200 pythons per year, as compared to about 2000 per year removed by paid contractors.
