I want to see “The Fly Who Bugged Me.”
The Fast & Furious movies are just self-serious versions of Cannonball Run. Change my mind.
Actually, the best part of Cannonball Run is the doctor. I’m always saying “what is this crude interruption?”
Really, really, really want a gritty remake of Captain Chaos (thinking Jack Black) for the sequel to The Joker.
These bleeds?
Also:
The best part of the movie was the cars. And maybe very young Jackie Chan.
But mostly the cars.
No actual race involved. So no. (But maybe the Tokyo Drift one might count…???)
But there was a ripoff that didn’t announce it was a ripoff
Well they were all just a ripoff of the Gumball Rally.
Nothing without Emergency Plan Alpha

Starring Michael Sarrazin. An actor who I thought fell off the map by the late 70’s. Wikipedia has proved my wildly incorrect (thankfully).
Gritty? I dunno, but the appearance of a wild Captain Chaos is always appreciated.
The first Vin Diesel one was a ripoff of Point Break.
Which was a ripoff of Weird Science (the movie, not the TV show), which was inspired by Cannonball Run. It’s all linear, man.
as much as i love Deano and Sammy, it’s Burt and Dom that make the movie. especially Dom.
I distinctly remember watching this scene as a kid and asking my mother, “What does he mean by ‘your ass’”?
Gotta love the campiness. It’s like a live-action cartoon. Do they still make movies like this anymore?
