It was Discovery Military Channel and originally a BBC series. So it wasn’t crap.
The RSC often modernise Shakespeare. When my English class went to see Julius Caesar it was set in a Central American dictatorship (I can’t see the then PM John Major being a good Caesar).
I expect there will be a Corbyn based Julius Caesar soon enough.
