Ugh, thankfully nobody was hurt it seems. The snow is coming down pretty hard here in NYC, can’t imagine how it’s safe to land planes in these types of conditions.
I’ve always wondered what flight status shows when a plane crashes. Since I fly Delta all the time, I have the Delta app on my phone. It shows “Flight Complete,” which seems, well, not inaccurate. It also shows the flight as having arrived at gate C21 at 11:45. I wonder what that actually means. Did they bus the passengers to C21? That would be 49 minutes after the landing time reported in the article.
