I haven’t read anywhere on why she won. Was the Republican just a really bad candidate (a la “Reverend” Roy Moore in Alabama) and the vote was against him, or did voters actually want her? Having spent some time in Jacksonville, I’d be interested in the underlying reasons for this upset.
How bad does a GOP candidate need to be to be rejected? Being a rapist doesn’t dissuade that voting bloc.
