Did you ever want to play questions?

Wasn’t I sad when Kroger bought out Fred Meyer/QFC here in Seattle? And now Albertson’s owns Safeway, which gave local NW chain Haggen a chance to move back into Seattle with some not so huge stores, and isn’t it totally awesome there will be a WinCo opening up reasonably nearby?

What are these, I don’t west coast?

WinCo is employee owned which is total goodness is it not? (They go for bigger and fewer locations but the one the family poked through coming back from the Sacremento trip awhile ago now was really awesome.)

I know…what the hell was that? Maybe we shouldn’t keep cutting their budget, huh?

(Clouds on and off here. Loved seeing the moon as a gunmetal-grey ball in the sky: it’s such a subtle WTF factor.)

Wasn’t that what I liked about Publix when I lived on t’other side of the country?

I understand from friends that New York got cloudy just at the same time, maybe 1 million people deciding to check out the stream all at once might have sent it down?

And yet we live in a country that distrusts science?

(Too many people interested in NASA…what a great problem to have!)

Has anybody seen this?

Have you posted this in the wrong thread?

Have I? (Have you?)

Do I now have a short term goal? Will I find something worse to see than Skidoo?

Oh my Jack Elam, Slim Pickens, and Denver Pyle… How can this not be crazy fun?

Or Movie 43?

(no availability of Skidoo on Netflix? The horror, the horror! Also: why doesn’t my wife like Bojack Horseman or Arrested Development but is daft for That Mitchell and Webb Look or Portlandia !!! Also: I might just possibly get her to agree for us to pay Amazon to watch season 3…5 of Venture Brothers on Amazon, since the d–n things aren’t on NF. Or should I just torrent them? I haven’t really DL’d much since Megaupload died for our sins.)

Have you seen The Big Bus?

Who hasn’t?

yes but so long ago that is all I remember is that I have seen it, maybe I should hunt down that to watch as well?

Are you familiar with the plot of Airport 1975? (pre-requisite to understand a chunk of The Big Bus)

Are you getting ready to get down?

Wow, so, like, quite a lot of the old advertising beacons and such to be authorised within ghostery if one wants to allow advertising on boingboing.net, huh?

I don’t like the names of some of them very much, but hardly get any of the ads to pop up if I allow just the ones identified as ‘advertising’ explicitly, and do they even know they got a true eyeball-hit if the beacons and such are turned off?

Didn’t I find it interesting that turning off the ad-blockers still doesn’t lead to any adverts appearing if I keep all the skeevy trackers blocked via Disconnect?
