Anyone watching the Leonids tonight?
Not me, it’s cold out there. But should I step outside anyway?

I wish. The insomnia tonight would have helped though, alas I live in the pacific northwest so the skies were anything but clear, and that is frustrating isn’t it?
Didn’t I need that?
Thanks.
The smiling pug really puts the cherry on top, doesn’t it?
(and you are welcome!)
Can’t I just eat those gifs up?
@japhroaig - have you tried THIS?
“With Zerodium, security researchers can finally make money with their security findings and hard work,” he writes.
#Or can’t you just get a job that pays you $140k a year and do the same thing!?
Oh, don’t I wish?
Is that a full time gig or something to get the company rubber stamped on whatever the lawyers think security means?
Full time, benefits, 401k, flexible work plans/hours–is it not hilarious that the golden age of ethical hackers is being hacked by opportunists? (Who didn’t see that twist coming?)
AND you’re living in a place with a much more affordable cost-of-living than Connecticut, aren’t you?
::le sigh::
Who wants to watch @slybevel and @albill debate whether or not OSX is Unix?
Isn’t the answer: as long as SIP is turned off?
Did I say I was making that? No sir, but isn’t that what mandiant/fireeye/symc/Intel/hp etc pay?
(And yeah, I tend to live in cheap places–$3k a month for an apartment gives me The Fear)
Don’t I keep running into either contract gigs where someone wants an expert with “product X” for a month or two so they can place a band-aid on their infrastructure, or someone to sign off on their next audit and then walk away?
Better than being stuck in areas where there is all kinds of budget for new exciting things but sustaining costs are oh what yeah those, can you make do with what you have for the year even though updates are required for support? Or this customer has techincal/government regulations that state specifically version X.Y.Z you can support that can’t you even though the vendor hasn’t for 3 years? Or the vendor has been bought out and the product dropped?
Oooh, ooh – where, where???
Is anyone planning on making a special thread for sharing thanksgiving menus/recipes, or should that go in the general “cooking” thread?
