Why would you want to? Why would anyone ever want tater tots over, say, chips (English)?

Anyone else pass on getting one of the better pizza options while up on the north side because the storm just keeps on coming so it was better to get out of there STAT and just deal with whatever’s in the larder/fridge at home?

I have tried to get Giordano’s to deliver to O’Hare when I’ve been there on a layover. Succeeded twice, failed twice. Can’t get Chicago-style deep-dish here. Now they do mail order though, so I can get it when I need my fix.

If you ever have a layover long enough to hop the blue line into the city (about 40 minutes each way, so you’d want to have at least 3 solid hours available) we can meet for real pizza. None of that cardboard stuff they get away with in NYC, that’s for sure!

Yeah, you gotta problem widdat? Seriously, I do like it the best of all the options I’ve tried. I spent the winter of 1992 living in Mt Prospect and tried all the deep dishes I could get my hands on. Most were good, but I like Giordanos the best.

I’ll keep that invitation in mind. It’s not unusual that I spend hours sitting at O’Hare.

And hey, don’t diss the NY pizza! I like that too. It’s not what you have in Chicago, but a slice folded over with the grease from the mozzarella dripping off? Yum! And I like California pizza too. Do you see a pattern developing here?
