Isnā€™t it the only interesting thing to happen to post secondary education in a long while?
(no, its not, its just Shark Tank, but in class, and by 18 yr olds, so its also hilarious)

Maybe you came to the wrong place to ask that? Or do you make exceptions for Happy Mutantsā„¢?

Would it be insane if for thanksgiving I made tater tots?

How can you NOT make tater tots for thanksgiving?

With chili?

Why would you want to? Why would anyone ever want tater tots over, say, chips (English)?

Although, with a roast turkey, why would anyone ever do anything than roast potatoes? How could any sane person prefer mashed?

Doesnā€™t that sound good to me? Or if you want fancier, how about tater tot casserole?

How could any sane person prefer mashed?

Can you form a hole in the middle of roasted potatoes that will hold a lake of gravy? No, right?

So is the preference for mashed insane after all?

Am I the only one who thinks a tater tot casserole is the opposite of fancier?

Anyone else pass on getting one of the better pizza options while up on the north side because the storm just keeps on coming so it was better to get out of there STAT and just deal with whateverā€™s in the larder/fridge at home?

I have tried to get Giordanoā€™s to deliver to Oā€™Hare when Iā€™ve been there on a layover. Succeeded twice, failed twice. Canā€™t get Chicago-style deep-dish here. Now they do mail order though, so I can get it when I need my fix.

Is Giordanoā€™s your idea of good Chicago deep dish pizza?

If you ever have a layover long enough to hop the blue line into the city (about 40 minutes each way, so youā€™d want to have at least 3 solid hours available) we can meet for real pizza. None of that cardboard stuff they get away with in NYC, thatā€™s for sure!

Iā€™ll keep that invitation in mind. Itā€™s not unusual that I spend hours sitting at Oā€™Hare.

And hey, donā€™t diss the NY pizza! I like that too. Itā€™s not what you have in Chicago, but a slice folded over with the grease from the mozzarella dripping off? Yum! And I like California pizza too. Do you see a pattern developing here?
