In 2016, Adams actively advertised that he was willing to put his “knowledge of persuasion” to active use in support of whichever presidential candidate if someone was willing to pay him to do so. He then made an announcement that he was supporting the republicans based on the estate tax but didn’t actually announce that someone had paid him.
So my question is, what is the legal tax and political contribution declaration status of all this? Is it just “dark money” that nobody has a right to know about?
If I were to guess, I would have said that Adams was likely to be a technocrat kind of liberal at heart but it seems that the urge to grift has made him a true Trumpian.

I’m actually relieved from reading this thread that Adams is now known to be a monster. Not so long ago, most people had no idea who the maker of everyone’s office-door clippings really was. I guess BB isn’t exactly representative of the world, but it’s a start.
