On the contrary, unless he’s like Domino the odds of him being in two plane crashes is much lower than the odds were of him being in one plane crash, so you should absolutely take the flight with him.
The occurrence of an improbable event makes its re-occurrence less probable, not more.

I’m no ear, nose & throat expert but just because a whale breathes through its nostrils (which are located on its forehead) does that really mean it can’t choke to death? Humans can breathe through our noses but we can still asphyxiate if something gets lodged in our throats.
Whales, like all mammals, have basically the same organ setup that we do but in a different configuration. It’s not like the blowhole is connected directly to the lungs.
