I really don’t feel any need nor desire to revisit/rewatch the show, but did they ever broach the subject of Alan’s profession on Two and a Half Men (beyond, e.g., jokes about being a real doctor or not)? I thought it was an unlikely career for the character (i.e. not dim enough to buy into what you’ve described, but also too scrupulous to do it).
