No. Even if a majority of Iowans do want that, many hundreds of thousands of Iowans don’t and they shouldn’t have their Constitutional rights stripped away.
Same goes for anyone who playfully suggests we “let [state/region] secede this time.” It would have been a terrible idea to just let the bigots walk away from the Union so they could do whatever they wanted in the 1860s and it would be a terrible idea today.
