So if he had resold the cocaine he would have made $500M by then.
Especially since, if Walk Hard The Dewey Cox Story has taught me anything, it’s the frontman of a band never pays for his drugs.
Honestly I was surprised to learn that you can buy a new McLaren for “only” $300k. The McLaren F1s used to cost about $1M decades ago. Now they’re about $20M.
They have a street version that starts at $280k. There are dealerships for them around.
Well. some of those doors might not open the right way.
Among recent models the P1 was the expensive one.
I had a boss that had a tuned car, I think it was a GT-R. Made about 600hp on the gas he was running the day he gave me a ride. I’ve never experienced acceleration like that before. It slammed my head back into the headrest. Any car that powerful can get away from you in a heartbeat. I remember the Top Gear guys (during a Grand Tour episode) playing with a P1, an earlier McLaren. Their consensus was that the car wanted them dead.
I had a great time riding a fast bike 20 years ago. I get the appeal. But at a certain level, you just don’t need to be playing with these toys on the street. Take it to a track. Better yet, take a small, light 200 hp car to the track. Honestly, for me that would be way more rewarding.
I think some companies do offer track training for the buyers of their supercars. No idea if McLaren does.
Where did I hear that excuse already?
Ah yes!
The famous last words of Edward Smith.
That poor guy from Fiat looks pretty nervous. The car looks like it would be real fun Oh, I just got to the spin, and the guy got all giggly. Cute.
No doubt he had a quiet, restful, Saturday evening.
You break it, you bought it.
It’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow
Fortune cookie or headstone?
Better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.
@anon72357663 jinx!
Yeah, about that handling…
The building didn’t have hi viz and a helmet on. Disgraceful. It also didn’t have to pay road tax. We need registration plates for buildings now to wipe out this scourge.
