It really is in Iran’s interest to be the adults, but they do not have the capabilities to take on both Israel and the US. Russia would back them, and probably China and NK, but still… I’m sure the moderates in Tehran know what the aftermath of a war would be, and don’t want that for their country. It would make the Iran-Iraq war look like a picnic.
