It was addressed in the Stars and Stripes piece I linked above, so I didn’t mention it. But I remember this well. I also think that any symbolic gesture to express at least some sort of regret would have gone a long way.

This guy was so terrible that his actions not only shocked fellow SEALs, but they even reported him to the rat squad multiple times. That’s pretty stunning.
Say what you want about the military but these are some tough ass motherfuckers with a pretty unshakable code of honor and brotherhood and even they were like, “yeah, fuck this guy.”
