Round here a red tail hawk would snap him up. A city full of pigeons, rats and squirrels is a like a buffet to raptors.
My grandmother grew poppies in her yard and had a grand old time laughing at squirrels that ate them.

Could be… Though I don’t think so. Toxins have uniform effects typically, the lateralizing (falling to one side) kinda suggest otherwise.
Sure. I was (wildly) speculating that while the intracranial pressure was rising uniformly, something failed on one side of the brain first causing lateralization. But, frankly, I’m not qualified to be doing that.
