There is stuff we could do about that. Israel found out by accident. They introduce nuts at a very early age in foods like Bamba (those incredibly addictive peanut puff snacks) largely because they’re tasty and cheap. The research is pretty clear. It reduced the prevalence of nut allergies dramatically.

I wondered that myself. Exactly how do they measure this?

Peanuts are not nuts, so reducing peanut allergies does not reduce nut allergies. Do they have something similar with tree nuts?
